Shield Docs Partners with The Virangana Project to Help Get Indian Start-Ups Over the Line

Shield Docs has doubled down on its commitment to supporting Start-Ups by signing a partnership agreement with The Virangana Project, a joint Australian / Indian initiative that will see some of India’s most innovative women entrepreneurs singled out for a high-level mentoring program. These entrepreneurs will be flown to Australia where they will pitch for investment capital at a series of Indian-themed ‘Pitch Fests’ scheduled for later this year as part of Sydney’s Spark Fest.

Shield Docs creates highly secure virtual ‘Data Rooms’ that facilitate deals, streamline tender workflow submissions, house board content, property transaction data and capital and debt raising syndications. Shield Docs is the solution of choice when looking for a simple, scalable, secure and smart data room.

Shield Docs, a Ferrier Hodgson subsidiary, will ensure that all twelve of the final applicants in the ground-breaking program will be maximising their chances of obtaining an equity investment from some of Australia’s most discerning investment groups through the provisional of their high security, cloud-based data rooms.

Ferrier Hodgson Partner and Shield Docs CEO, Michael Khoury added that

“We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that Shield Docs has been developed to a world class standard, and now we want to apply it to world class businesses. The Indian economy is on a trajectory to become the world’s third largest by 2020, and some of the technology coming out of India is phenomenal. We couldn’t be happier to be associated with this wonderful initiative for women.”
